January / February 2014 Goals and Successes

Goals:

 Recipe for Trouble

Formerly A Recipe for Treachery, the goal for January was to get the book, excerpts and pitch ready for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel competition. When the competition wasn’t announced until mid-January with a submission date of February 16, I spent the extra time polishing the submission. The goal of getting the package ready to go and entered into the contest was reached, though it took more time than I expected.

 Pretender’s Games

I didn’t hit the goal of having the book ready to go by the end of January. I won’t even have it finished by the end of February. However, the interior of the e and print books is finished. That leaves a cover to be finalized, e-book conversions to be done and a back cover blurb to be written. The pub goal is now ASAP.

Cruise into History

Blogging was pushed completely to the side in January and February. The target goals were carried over from December, but none were met. The goal for March is to get back at it.

 Annual Planning

Each January I review my previous year to identify successes, revise goals, or add new ones. This January was no exception.
